Named for the best hour of the day

The leisure hour is the stretch of time that belongs to nobody but you: the late-afternoon light, the cup of tea going cool, the kids at the kitchen table with a box of crayons.

Leisure Hour Press is a small independent publisher making books for that hour. We publish adult coloring books with original line art, puzzle books that play fair, and gentle read-and-color books for young children. All of them are made to be picked up, enjoyed and put down again without fuss.

What we care about

• Calm, not clutter. Medium detail, open space, nothing microscopic.
• Made to be used. One-sided coloring pages, big trim sizes, answer keys in the back.
• Honest making. Our artwork is created with digital and AI-assisted tools then checked and laid out with care, and each Amazon listing discloses it.

Who we are

The press was founded by author Bryan Ralston, whose name you’ll find on every cover. Books are printed on demand and sold through Amazon.
